Lincoln Motor Company is going to make its appearance at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show and it’s going to show their latest version of the well-known Aviator line of SUVs, together with its upgraded version, that’s called the Grand Touring.
It will cost about $70,000 and it’s all about a three-row, midsize premium utility. For the model from 2020, they will give a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 delivering, 400 worth of horsepower and 400 lb/ft worth of torque. If you want the gas-electric hybrid power plant, then those numbers go way up, to 450-plus HP and 600 lb/ft of torque – and it’s all thanks to physics.
The upgraded version of the SUV will give you an increased level of control. Let’s take a clear example: the Aviator gets the Lincoln Drive Modes, which will improve the handling, ride and responsiveness to unexpected weather conditions (like normal, conserve, slippery, excite or deep conditions). The GT version has two more settings, Pure EV and Preserve EV, which will deal with the actions of the hybrid-electric drivetrain.

When it comes to the assistive features, the 2020 Aviator is a bit crowded. It lowers its suspension in order to accommodate the driver, which will allow him or her to step up a shorter distance so they can enter the vehicle cab and load the cargo easily into the rear.
