Android Q

One thing we know for sure is that the upcoming Android update will start with a Q. However, this might be a problem, as there aren’t many desserts that start with the letter “Q”. Here are a couple of options:

  • Quiche

At the moment this appears to be the most popular option. It appears to be the most obvious choice, but there is one problem: quiche is not a dessert. While it is very similar to a pie, it can uses vegetables, meat or even seafood. Using it would mean that Google breaks the tradition of using just desserts for names.

  • Quindim

This could be a strong competitor. Quindim is a Brazilian dessert made out of coconut, sugar, and eggs. However, the biggest disadvantage here is the fact that very few people have heard of quindim before.

  • Quince

Quinces are fruits and they are not exactly sweet. Nonetheless, they are often used for jam or desserts, so this option is not an impossible one. Quinces are also more well known than other names on this list, so this could be a plus.

  • Quaker Oats

While Quaker Oats are quite well known, it is hard to say whether they can be considered a dessert. In addition to that, Quaker Oats seems un unlikely Android name.
