DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Drone will Come with a Thermal Camera

Just like the mobile industry, the drone market is developing every year. Producers are doing their best to offer users modern technology and outstanding features. This is the case with DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise, a drone that it’s said to be under development as we speak.

According to recent rumours, this product is the work of DJI, a drone maker based in China. Little is known so far about this wonder of technique, but those who are looking into the matter say that if and when it comes, the drone will be ”smoking hot”.

New challenges need new technology

A new release on the tech market means more speculations around the item’s specs. This time, rumours say that DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise will be manufactured for the private sector and that it will come with a thermal or infrared camera.

The news was spread by Drone DJ. According to them, DJI Enterprise, the manufacturing company, used Twitter to leak this information. The controversial post appeared recently and it contains a message and a picture. These symbols make everybody think that DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise might have an infrared or thermal camera.

DJI Enterprise’s idea to launch DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise was made public during DJI Airworks 2018. This is the moment when developers announced some of the drone’s specs: floodlight, a loudspeaker and most importantly, night-time strobe light. All these features come packed in a box which also contains a remote controller, a spare battery and a protection kit equipped with flight tools.

A thermal camera will fit the whole package perfectly. Like we mentioned before, this information wasn’t confirmed yet. However, we could find out if it will be added or not on the same social network, Twitter.
