Grand Theft Auto 5 was a huge hit, and its legacy continues even years after its release. Since there is no news about when we will receive a new GTA game, fans have to find solace in other things.
Cars are one of the main parts of the franchise and Rockstar always manages to deliver impressing models. The game has had some iconic models, many of them inspired by real-life cars. However, did you ever think about a car inspired by the GTA ones?
If you ever wished to drive one of the Grand Theft Auto 5 vehicles on the street, you should know that this is now possible.
The real-life GTA car
A car was styled to look exactly like the Bravado Banshee, one of the vehicles found in GTA 5. The car from the game was inspired by the 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10, so it wasn’t that difficult to make this a reality.
West Coast Customs built the car and Rockstar Games commissioned it back in 2012 in order to promote the release of the game. The car started as a basic Viper but it received plenty of enhancements. For example, there are side-exit exhaust pipes, it comes with a stereo system, the interior has been redesigned and it has body panels.
The car was won by someone in North Carolina through a sweepstakes held by Rockstar Games. But you don’t have to envy him. The car is now up for sale at Texas Hot Rides. You can find it on eBay and it has a Buy It Now Price of $62,991. The car is very rare so this could be your only chance to buy it. It will be interesting to see where the car will go in the future, and it might end up with an increased value after GTA 6 is released as well.
