Pokémon Go Limited-Time Event Available With Exciting Features

Pokémon Go was released more than two and a half years ago, but the game remained popular among smartphones users.

Niantic has updated the game constantly, adding new and exciting features that kept the experience fresh and the fans active.

A new type of content will be tested by the studio in order to check if the fans would be interested by the offer. This translates into a limited event that will be accessible for a few hours. The exact launch date varies from region to region.

After the event is released players will be able to complete special research tasks. The tasks themselves can be obtained by spinning the PhotoDisk that can be occasionally found at PokeStops. If the tasks are completed successfully the players will have the chance to capture the rare water Pokémon called Feebas. If luck is on your side you may stumble upon a shiny version of the Pokémon in question.

Another special event is currently active. Focused on one of the iconic zones from the original games, the Big Hoenn Celebrations will offer players the chance to catch some Pokémon from Generation 3. Among them players can encounter shiny versions of Zigzagoon and Tailow.

Many augmented reality games have been released after Pokémon Go but all of them failed to reach a large audience.

The game is very popular among children and adults alike because it encourages them to explore their surroundings and visit new and interesting places in their city or region.

A few controversies appeared at some point in the early days, when excited fans exposed themselves to unnecessary risk by walking without paying attention to the environments. This resulted in a small number of accidents as some people managed to trip and hit themselves quite badly.

Since then Niantic added a few messages that warn users to always be aware of their surroundings. It is expected that the game will continue to grow in the future.
