iPhone 11R Possible Release Date and Leaks

The iPhone is the most popular device sold by Apple with pre-orders selling-out in mere minutes. Apple has launched a new model or models every year, and it is likely that the trend will continue.

September is the prime release window for the main iPhone models with some devices released on other occasions. The iPhone XS and XS Max were released back in September 2018 while the budget-friendly iPhone XR became available in October. Similarly, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were released in September 2017 while the trend-setter iPhone X arrived in November 2017.

One can argue that the iPhone X and XS are exceptions, with the former introducing a new design and a selection of features while the other aimed to deliver the Apple experience at an affordable price.

The Cupertino giant is likely to maintain the popular trio, with some sources claiming that an iPhone 11, 11 Max and 11R will premiere in September 2019.

Possible features

Rumors that possible detail features are already present. Select voices claim that Apple will employ a triple camera setup. The addition will allow the devices to capture better images, including wide-angle shots and increased performance in darker environments.

It seems that the new devices may include Haptic Touch, a replacement for the more expensive 3D Touch feature. 3D Touch is a great feature, but it isn’t attractive for many iPhone users. The cost of including a pricy force-touch model seems to be unjustified and reducing costs is a reasonable decision in any business venture.

The rumored 5G feature won’t make an appearance this year. Support for 5G networks is quite limited at this point, and it will take a while until it becomes widely-available around the world.

Price Bump

Some users already anticipate that the release of the new line will make the 2018 models cheaper. It may not be the case since Apple chose to retire the iPhone X when the new line was released last year.
