Clash of Clans World Championship – Here is One Thing you Must Know!

Event organizer and production company ESL has partnered with game developerSupercell to host the Clash of Clans World Championship.

ESL is a production and event organizer company that is in collaboration with Supercell, the game developer, in order to host the Clash of Clans World Championship.

1st of March is the starting point, and over six months the competition will span with $1,000,000 (£775,390) up for grabs for eight lucky teams.

How will they do it?

According to Vice President of Product & Publisher Relations, Fabian Scheuermann, EMEA at ESL, they are excited that Supercell is their partner and can’t wait to provide fans and teams all over the world with an experienced they have never thought of culminating at one of their major events in Germany. This program will develop using featuring innovative mobile esports elements and using a new 5v5 format, a competitive space for the Clash of Clans community where they can prove their skill and where the winning clan will receive their crown.

Biggest price?

Anybody will be allowed to compete in the six pre-qualifier rounds for which a new 5v5 format in the game’s Clan War Leagues feature will be used. Four teams from ESL Play and four teams from the in-game event, in a total of eight teams, will advance to a monthly offline qualifier that will take place in Katowice, Poland.

Out of the eight slots for the competition, six of them will be occupied through these offline qualifiers. The rest amount of two teams will be chosen by the Clash of Clans community and Supercell as wildcard picks.

Esport Insider attended the Clash Royale League World Finals in Tokyo, Japan last year. Supercell is also the developer of Clash Royale, and the World Finals was the culmination of the title’s lofty esports efforts.
