Ming-Chi Kuo has recently released a note, in which the analyst talked about the features that we might find in 2019’s iPhone 11. According to some reports, Kuo has also given us details about the 2019 model, saying that they could have attributes that are right now present in the current models of iPhone. The similarities will be seen in the size of the handset, iPhone 9 coming with 5.8 inches, 6.3 inches and 6.5 inches.
He talked a bit about the changes that are expected to be seen in the 2019 model, and he mentioned that the LCD version could come with 4GB RAM, which is quite an upgrade from 3GB RAM, that we found on iPhone XR.
It will be able to charge other devices
There’s a certain feature that Apple will “steal” from Android’s Huawei Mate 20 Pro. We’re talking about the ability to charge other devices with reverse wireless charging. This is going to be one of the upcoming main features of the models. Other features may be a frosted glass casing, much larger batteries, and upgraded data for indoor navigation and positioning.
He also said that the new 5.8 OLED phone might support DSDS and that the new 6.1 LCD phone might be upgraded to 4GB.
For the main upgrades, we might also get Ultra-Wide Band (UWB for short) for indoor positioning and navigation. Also, bilateral wireless charging, that’s going to be useful if you want to charge other devices. It will come with an upgraded Face ID feature, and it will have a higher power flood illumination. He also mentioned frosted glass casing and larger batteries, and triple camera, with wide, ultra-wide and telephoto lens.
The 2019 iPhones will come with a lightning connector, and not with a USB Type-C charging port.
Kuo also goes on to mention that the 2019 line-up of iPhones will feature a lightning connector as opposed to the heavily rumored USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the upcoming iPhones will feature a notch that’s the same size instead of smaller ones.
