It’s the time of the year when most phone manufacturers unveil their upcoming devices. We already talked about the new Sony, LG and Samsung smartphones which were revealed at the Mobile World Congress 2019. It is now time to focus on OnePlus.
The 5G device was already showed to us, but this time we might have more to show you. Thanks to leakers Pricebaba and Onleaks, we now know how the design of the phone looks like. The specs of the device have been leaked as well.
Looks and specs
Based on the report we received, the OnePlus 7 will come with a 6.5-inch ‘all-screen’ display. It will have minimal bezels, and there will be no notch for the smartphone. The OnePlus 7 also comes with an interesting addition. The phone will have a pop-up selfie camera located at the top of the phone. This isn’t the first time we see a pop-up camera, but it is fascinating nonetheless.
If we take a look at the specs of the phone, we can see that the OnePlus 7 is supposed to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chip. The dimensions of the smartphone are 162.6 x 76 x 8.8mm and it will come with 8 GB of RAM.
There are three camera sensors located on its back, and the device also has a USB-C port. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, but the phone won’t have a headphone jack. There is a single mono speaker and we have also discovered that the device won’t come with wireless charging capabilities. This can be a bit of a bummer, since most flagship Android phones come with this feature.
The One Plus 7 is expected to become available at the end of the spring, or the beginning of summer, which means that a May-June release is very likely.
