If you were wondering you already knew all the rumors about the PlayStation 5, then you’re wrong. Popular leaker on Reddit has previously claimed that the PS5 will be able to support 4K and 60FPS, and the recent information suggests this claim is true.
Last year, we learned that Sony wouldn’t appear at E3 2019, and just a few hours before the announcement, a Redditor called RuthenicCookie4 claimed that Sony wouldn’t show up at E3.
What other leaks did RuthenicCookie4 offer to other people on Reddit? Here are a few screenshots from The Nerd Mag:
As you can see, we should expect a return of PS Experience, the developers already have dev kits for the PS5, and this year’s E3 without Sony doesn’t necessarily mean that they won’t show anything at all.
RuthenicCookie even predicted how much buggy Anthem will be and that it will be delayed again. As for Anthem’s bugs, you already know it all from yesterday’s ton of headlines that reported PS4’s players crashing because of the game.
Nonetheless, we should take all the rumors and leaks with a grain of salt until more things surface,
He has claimed earlier that the PlayStation 5 will be able to support 60FPS at 4K resolution, adding that it will be a monster. Let’s see if it all fits the rumored specs for the PS5.
PlayStation 5 Specs, Release Date
CPU: Ryzen 8-core CPU / GPU: 6.0 TFLOP+ Custom AMD GDDR5X / RAM: 16-32 GB / Storage: 1-2 TB / Resolution: Native 4K / HDR: Yes / Optical Drive: 4K Blu-ray
Will these specs be able to run new games at 4K and keep the 60 fps? It is rumored to come with a powerful CPU, a custom GDDR5X AMD GPU and at least 16 GB of RAM.
As for the release date, the only official information out there is from last year’s interview of Sony Interactive CEO John Kodera, when it stated to the Wall Street Journal that the PS5 would be released no sooner than 2021. However, industry experts think that the date is not set in stone and the PS5 might be here this year or the next.
