When it comes to popularity, there aren’t that many mobile games that can stand toe to toe with Pokemon Go. This mobile game has been downloaded by more than 11 million people on the Google Play Store alone. As if this wasn’t impressive enough, Pokemon Go’s popularity hasn’t dwindled one bit even though the game was initially released back in July 2016. The reason why Pokemon Go has managed to top the “most played” charts on the Google Play Store is because the game is always improving thanks to new updates.
Pokemon Go 0.139.3 Update
We previously noted that Pokemon Go’s gameplay is always getting better thanks to new updates. Therefore, no one should be shocked to find out that the game is being updated every other week and a brand-new one has recently arrived. The latest update available for Pokemon Go sports the 0.139.3 build number and it comes with lots of “goodies”.
System Requirements
Before we go over the new features and software improvements that this latest update brings, we first need to present the system requirements. The update requires a minimum of 96.22MB of free internal storage space and it is targeted for smartphones that are running on Android 8.0 Oreo. On the bright side of things, the update can also be installed on older smartphones because it can run on a minimum of Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

Pokemon Go fans should be happy to know that this latest update makes it easier for them to become “Lucky Friends” with their best friends. Not just that, but the update is also introducing a new feature that enables Pokemon Go fans to activate stacking notification badges directly through the app. Last but not least, Pokemon Go’s new update comes with a bunch of performance updates, bug fixes and improvements to text.
