Pokemon GO events are always big, and the upcoming one seems to be no exception. Community Day events have been quite popular in the past and a new one will be launched tomorrow. We already know that the Community Day event for May 2019 will be focused on Torchic, the fire type Pokemon.
This Community Day event will be an unusual one. Players already know that previous Community Day events took place on Saturdays. However, there will be an exception this time, as the celebration will take place on Sunday.
The event will begin at 3 pm local time and it will remain available for 3 hours, ending at 6 pm. While the Torchic is the most important attraction of the event, players will also be able to get a Combusken or even a Blaziken.
The final secret
Niantic also released the final secret of this Communit6y Day event. As it turns out, if Combusken is evolved into Blaziken during the event, this Pokemon will know a special move that is exclusive for this period. The news was made public via the Twitter account.
“Attention, Trainers! ?
Evolve Combusken during #PokemonGOCommunityDay or up to one hour afterward to obtain a Blaziken that knows Blast Burn!” explained the official Pokemon GO account.
More than that TMs can be used by trainers in order to help Blaziken learn another special move. The feature will also become available for other Pocket Monsters in the future during upcoming Community Day events.
“Kicking in on Community Day and going forward, Trainers can use TMs to teach their Blaziken the powerful Fire-type move Blaze Kick!” Niantic revealed.
The event also offers players a chance to catch a Shiny Torchic as the chances will be highly increased during those hours.
