The Pixel 3a released in May 2019 is by far the best mid-range smartphone you could purchase under $500. Even with this successful device just being released, fans are excited for the next Pixel model. Why so?
Pixel 4’s new design has been unveiled, and its architecture resembles Galaxy S10 Plus and iPhone XS.
According to a trustworthy source, a noted mobile phone manufacturer who goes by the name of Skinomi has started to take pre-orders from clients for the Pixel 4 cases already. The thing is, that case manufacturer is only vending screen protector products at the moment.
With that being said, there is no sure image of the device’s back cover, more precisely, there is no knowledge on what kind of camera setup the Pixel 4 will feature.
Pixel 4 Design, Features, Hardware
It is probable that the next Pixel will feature a new design, for example, the hole-punch display seen on the Galaxy S10 devices, as said by earlier leaks. A new leak, though, has stated this because of an accessory manufacturer who is also taking pre-orders of accessories that would merge perfectly with a hole-punch screen.
If we were to base the design of the phone on the leaked screen protector, the device would feature a front hole-punch camera on the right side of the screen, and top and bottom front-facing speakers. The speakers will, however, not cut into the display of the Pixel 4.
The selfie camera comes with a multi-lens setup, which has broadly expected from Google after this year’s Pixel release. The smartphone will possibly have a rear dual-lens camera.
Regarding the design, there is a high possibility that the back camera of the upcoming Google phone will be located at another corner in comparison to the Pixel 3 camera setup.
In addition to the dual front camera setup, the new Pixel phone will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset.
Pixel 4 Expected Release Date
As said by a trustworthy source, the new Pixel will be unveiled at Google’s event, in October, when the company will also announce its flagship smartphone series. Nikkei, a Japanese newspaper stated that the Pixel Lite and Pixel 4 devices would also be revealed in October at this year’s Google event.
The Pixel 4 was apparently announced in March, this year, but there are no precise details until today.
