Error code 110 on the Google Play Store is an annoying issue. Not only does it prevent new app download but it also prevents already-installed apps to be installed.
Basically, this error is mostly experienced on Android devices using custom ROM as well as devices with multiple OS including the Android OS.

Solution 1: Manually install the application
This workaround requires that you install the application manually without Google Play Store.
Here’s how:
- Identify the app you want to install
- Go to ApkPure or any other apk download site
- Download the apk file for the intended app
- Tap on the apk file to install.
- After that, launch the application.
Solution 2: Clear Google Play Cache and Data
Clearing of Play Store cached data can fix any militating Play Store errors instantly like the error code 110 problem.
To clear Play Store cached data:
- Go to Settings > Applications
- Locate the Google Play Store
- Now, Force Stop Play Store.
- Clear Cache and Data
- Also, Clear Data and Cache for:
Google Play Service
Download Manager
Google Services Framework
- Next, reboot your device.
- Then, launch Play Store.
If the nagging problem still persists, proceed to the next workaround.
Solution 3: Perform Factory Reset
Factory-reset reverts your device back to its factory mode. While this is not a highly recommended solution, it is advisable you try either the Solution 1 or 2 mentioned above.
Nevertheless, here’s to reset your Android device to factory mode:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Back up and Reset
- Tap on Backup.
- After that, tap on Factory data reset.
- Then, restart your device.
- Now, launch Play Store
- Then try to download the app again.
Note: It is necessary you back up your data before performing factory reset.
