When it comes to email apps, Gmail is the most popular one and there is no doubt that. Even though Gmail is the default app of all Android-powered smartphones, the app is equally as popular on iOS and other operating systems as well. This speaks volumes about the performances that Gmail has to offer. The reason why Gmail offers such a premium user experience and fast performances is thanks to the constant stream of updates that it benefits from.
Google is one of the world’s biggest software companies since Google is the company directly in charge of Gmail, then no one should be surprised to find out that Gmail is updated on a daily basis with improvements and bug fixes. In fact, the email app has just received a new update and today we are going to present everything there is to know about it.
Gmail 2019.08.04.263073080 Update
The new update for Gmail sports the 2019.08.04.263073080 version number and Google is rolling it out via OTA (over the air) channels right. Since the update is being released via OTA channels, then the only thing that Gmail fans need to do in order to access the new update is to simply keep their smartphones connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
We also want to note that the new update has been released in the form of APK (Android Package Kit). This is a special type of update format and it can only be installed on Android-powered smartphones. The great thing about APK releases is that they make it possible for Gmail users to manually download and install all new updates.
What’s New?
The new update for Gmail is making it possible for users to schedule emails to be sent a later date and time. This is a nice change and to make things even better, Gmail is also going to start offering suggestions as users are typing.
