Fans of the upcoming Sony console will be presented a gameplay video of a next game which has already been confirmed for the PlayStation 5.
Confirmed games
Recently, developers of Dying Light 2 confirmed that the title would be a cross-generation release, meaning that in addition to the PS4 and Xbox One, the game will also be available on the Xbox Scarlett and PS4.
A Techland spokesperson told WCCFTech: “Techland always has an eye on the latest new toys!”. “To be more specific – yes, the plan since the beginning of production has been to make Dying Light 2 a cross-generation title,” he added.
The studio announced their plans to reveal a new gameplay video in August, during a live stream. It’s unlikely that the footage will be taken from a next-gen version of the game, but it’s very amazing to see footage from one of the confirmed next-gen releases.
“The time has come to show you #DyingLight2 Official Gameplay Demo! Join us on a special stream on 26th August at 8 PM CEST /11 AM PDT! SET A REMINDER – you don’t want to miss it!” – a tweet from the official account of the Dying Light 2 game.
What is expected
We will likely see some footage from a high-end PC, which will probably resemble best that the PS5 version of the game will look like. “It’s been 15 years since humanity lost to the virus,” says the official description of Dying Light 2.
