MIUI 10 Updates Rolling Out For Mi Note 3 and Redmi 3S/3X/3S Prime

It appears that the MIUI stable update is finally rolling our for older devices such as Redmi 3S, 3X and 3S Prime, as well as the Mi Note 3. Nonetheless, the update for the Mi Note 3 is based on Android Nougat, while the update for Redmi 3S, 3X and 3S Prime is based on Android Marshmallow. The same update released for the Redmi 3S is also available for the Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi 3X, which isn’t surprising, since they are basically different versions of the same handset.

For the Redmi 3S phones the update comes with the software number MIUI V10.1.1.0.MALMIFI and weights 289MB, while for the Mi Note 3, the software version is MIUI V10.1.2.0.NCHMIFI and the update weights 565MB. “All-new UI is tailored for full screen devices and lets the content take the front stage. (New design looks fresh and clean on older devices too!)” reads the description for this update.

We are hoping that this is just the beginning for the Mi Note 3. Hopefully, the Oreo update will be released soon. The Oreo beta build already appears available for this device. We are also hoping that the phone will receive an Android Pie update as well.
