The Sims 5: Everything We Need To See In The Upcoming Game

The Sims titles can definitely be considered some of the most popular simulation games. Each game was a hit, and the number of fans continues to grow. A sequel for Sims 4 is expected.

For a while, we couldn’t even be sure that the Sims 5 will exist. Sims 4 producer Grant Rodiek posted a comment on the official Sims forum: “We’re not working on Sims 5. We’re not thinking about Sims 5. If Sims 4 isn’t successful, there won’t be a Sims 5.” Luckily, Sims 4 was a success, so another game is expected. Rodiek has also deleted the comment since.

Open world exploration

This is the feature that everyone wants back. It wouldn’t be wise for EA to ignore the players’ wishes. Open world exploration was possible until the Sims 4. In the Sims 3, you could walk freely in your neighborhood and explore the town.

Everything changed when The Sims 4 was released. Instead of allowing users to wander freely, traveling to a different location means that you have to deal with a loading screen. This happens even if you want to leave your lot.

Transportation

One of the great things about the Sims 3 is that you could travel in a vehicle. There were cars and bikes available, and you could even call a cab. Removing vehicles from the Sims 4 does not seem like a good choice, and it makes the game less realistic.

Age groups

The Sims 5 should have all age groups from the start. As you can probably remember, Sims 4 players had to wait for two years until toddlers were added to the base game. This is something that should be avoided in the Sims 5.

Release date

While we know that the Sims 5 must be on its way, there is no official release date. While Electronic Arts didn’t confirm anything, there are plenty of rumors flying around the Internet. It is believed that the game will come out in 2020. Nonetheless, this cannot be confirmed yet.
