Is Mass Effect 4 Finally On Its Way?

Mass Effect: Andromeda was a revolutionary game for the series. It brought several important changes, such as the open-region structure. Obviously, fans loved it, but there was one downside. It left them wanting for more.

Many players felt that the game had several plot points that were left unresolved. Also Mass Effect: Andromeda did not have the market success it was aiming for. All these left us hoping that we will receive a new game soon.

N7 Day

November 7 is a special day for the Mass Effect Franchise, also known as N7 Day. While we had no official information about Mass Effect 4, it appears that on N7 BioWare decided to tease us a bit. The following tweet has been posted on the official BioWare account:

This year we take a look back—and a glimpse at the future of Mass Effect. #N7Day pic.twitter.com/E8fLH1ftx8

And that is not all. Casey Hudson did share an interesting blog post in which he confirmed that the franchise is not over yet. Also shared with us that there are “plans” which will ensure that that Mass Effect will continue. Here is what he wrote:

A couple of weeks ago it was once again N7 Day.  It’s one of my favorite times of the year – a day when people around the world share their experiences with Mass Effect.  It’s so inspiring to know that there are so many fans of the series out there that are enjoying the games we’ve made, and hoping that we’ll make more.  We announced one of the things we’ve done recently (a 4k enhancement to Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One) but as we alluded to in our N7 Day video, that was just a small part of the plans we’re making for Mass Effect going forward.

With all these signs, it becomes quite obvious that we will receive a new Mass Effect game. We just don’t know when.
