The wait is almost over for Kingdom Hearts fans. The third game is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited. The last game of the series was released more than 13 years ago, so we had a long time to wait. We are now only a few weeks away from the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3.
When will the game come out?
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users will receive the game on January 29, 2019. However, Japanese players are the lucky ones, as they will receive Kingdom Hearts 3 slightly earlier, on January 25, four days before others.
Game details
There are plenty of details available when it comes to Kingdom Hearts 3. There are also multiple trailers available online, and the last one is the Final Battle trailer which can be watched here.
The final trailer is by far the most interesting one, and it provides plenty of sneak peeks. It appears that the video features one of the last levels in the game.
Square Enix even allowed players to get a taste during the holiday season. During Christmas, fans were allowed to download for free The Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience for PSVR.
From what we know, it appears that the game won’t be available for Nintendo Switch, which might be sad news for some players. However, a Nintendo Switch release isn’t completely out of the question. In a 2017 interview, Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura explained that they have considered releasing the game on Nintendo Switch after the PS4&Xbox One release.
There are only a couple of weeks left until the game is released, so be prepared. This might be the perfect time to play the old games. If you are planning to buy Kingdom Hearts 3 you might want to head over to Amazon, where the game will be launched with an exclusive Keyblade DLC.
