Improved characters
The characters of the Final Fantasy universe can be considered one of the reasons why the franchise is so popular. However, this does not mean that they couldn’t be improved. Fans would like to see some development in the future.
It would be nice to have a stronger cast of heroes. In addition to that, there are many gamers who would like to see protagonists that are not men. This could attract more female customers and it would allow the game to explore a different perspective.
Combat system changes
The combat system could also use some improvements. The developers did make the switch from traditional battle systems to real-time combat. This was definitely an interesting move, but it might not be enough for Final Fantasy 16.
For the next game, it would be nice to see both the old combat style and the new combat style. Developers could even come up with a way for combining the, and we could see some refined moves and skills.
Open world
The fact that Final Fantasy 15 is an open world game allowed players to fully immerse into it. However, the open world experience wasn’t as smooth as it was supposed to, and there were issues as well. It would be nice to see an enhanced open world experience in the upcoming game.
