Did we just see Cyberpunk 2077 release date being teased in the Valentine’s Day photo posted on their Twitter page?
All this waiting can be frustrating, but we cannot be mad at CD Projekt RED when they post funny GIFS and artwork inspired by the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.
Now let’s get back to the photo that made everyone lose it. On Valentine’s Day, the Twitter page created for Cyberpunk 2077 posted the image of a Cupid, with the following caption:
BREAKING NEWS: Cupid is Back! Spotted on February 14th, this bounty hunter is wielding a one-of-a-kind semi-automatic high caliber rifle with a special property of filling holes in people’s hearts. And he might just be having you in his sight… #ValentinesDay
Now, the not-so-traditional looking chubby angel who is actually a cyber bounty hunter wielding not a bow, but a rifle, would make people fall in love or just cause mayhem in Night City.
But besides his strange and funny appearance, this Cupid’s rifle might hold the secret to the release date of the game! Cyberpunk fans analyzed the weapon and saw a few numbers. Here is a close-up of the numbers, and what people think about their presence in the artwork:
Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date: June, November, December, January?
You can see on the rifle, right under Cupid’s nose the numbers 60 and on the scope the numbers 112. Speculations have it that these numbers could be the release date of the game. Could it be 9 June, 2 November, 12 January, or other combinations of numbers?
Nobody knows the answer, but we do know that we’ve all been waiting for some time. Probably CD Projekt RED will finally announce at least a possible month during this year’s E3.
Even if the numbers don’t mean anything, CD Projekt RED is known to have made fans speculate over and over again about the Cyberpunk 2077 release date.
On Christmas’ Eve, we spotted this next gem, and we get it – if you want a good game, you have to take your time and meet fans’ expectations. Take all the time you need, CD Projekt RED! Just keep us in the loop!
Whenever Cyberpunk 2077 will be released, players will be able to get it on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
