Apple might launch a few interesting devices this year, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s investor note acquired by MacRumors.
We’ll see a new design for the MacBook Pro in 2019, which will be 16 inches big, we expect to see a 31-inch monitor (6K resolution) and some new iPads. The 6K monitor is rumored to come with a backlight design.
iPhones will also bring bilateral charging, which means that you can use your iPhone’s battery to charge other devices.
According to the note, iPhone models in 2019 will look similar in size to the iPhone XS and iPhone XR – 6.5-inch, 5.8-inch, and 6.1-inch versions. They will all keep Lightning connectivity, adds Kuo, nothing that iPhones will get several other features such as frosted glass casing, upgraded Face ID, larger batteries and triple camera design. The last feature was reported previously to appear only on the iPhone 11 Max.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro may come with 32 GB of RAM, which is double the RAM offered by the current 13-inch model and similar to what the current 15-inch supports.
Kuo’s note also hinted that the new Mac Pro would come with “easy to upgrade components,” so the recent “modular” ability teased by Apple seems to be just on schedule for the release.
