Several users have complained about a MacBook issue that made their laptop get stuck on the loading screen with the Apple Logo. Even if you wait for a couple of minutes, the logo does not go away and nothing happens. You shouldn’t wait for more than a couple of minutes for your MacBook to turn on, so if this is happening to you, it is very important that you find a solution for it. Luckily for you, we can show you how you can fix it.
Reset NVRAM
Sometimes resetting NVRAM could do the trick. In order to do that, you need to shut down your computer first. Then turn it back on and press and hold the keys P, R, Option and Command. Hold them for about 20 seconds and then release them or wait until the Apple logo shows up in order to release them.
Reset SMC
If that did not work, you can also try resetting System Management Controller (SMC). Once again you will need to shut down your MacBook Pro first. Then Press and hold the Option, Shift and Command keys on the left side and press the power button at the same time for around 10 seconds. Release the keys and turn on your laptop. See if the issue is still there.
Repair the disk
The issue might be with the disk, so you should try to fix it. In order to do that, you need to restart the computer first. After the chime you should press the R and Command keys at the same time until the Utility menu pops up on the screen. Choose Disk Utility and then press the Continue button. Press View and then select Show All Devices. Choose the disk from the side list. Now Choose First Aid and click Done.
