A couple of hours ago, PlayStation Europe revealed the free games coming to PlayStation Plus users in March. According to their blog post, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness will be available for free starting with 5 March.
PlayStation Plus Games in March – Only for PS4/PS4 Pro Users
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was released in 2016, and you can play it for free on PS4 and PS4 Pro (at 4k resolution!). It’s a great game that was very popular, considering it features the WWII storyline. The remaster looks amazing on the PS4, and if you still haven’t played it, we recommend you to grab it next week.
The Witness is, according to IGN’s review, a “beautiful, powerful, and cleverly designed puzzle game with a wealth of mysteries to unravel.” The game was released in 2016, as a successor of the great platformer Braid (2008). The Witness is a great first-person puzzler, described by PlayStation as being “a slow-burning test of the old grey matter.”
Until 5 March remember to add February’s PlayStation Plus titles for the PS4 – Hitman: The Complete First Season and For Honor. In my opinion, these two have been the best titles of the lineup in the past year – except for Bloodborne.
The PS3 and PS Vita users should remember that PlayStation won’t continue adding games starting with March, but you still have time to grab the following games available for February, writes the PlayStation blog post:
Divekick – PS3 (Cross Buy with PS Vita)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots – PS3
Gunhouse – PS Vita
Rogue Aces – PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
PlayStation also adds that any PS3 and PS Vita games downloaded in players’ library until March 8 will remain there as long as the users are still a member. Save games and benefits will also continue to be supported.
