If you enjoy playing Pokemon Go in your free time, then we have some amazing news for you! Niantic, the maker of Pokemon Go, has released a new update for the mobile game and introduces a really exciting feature called Go Snapshot. Today we are going to present what player can do with the Go Snapshot feature and everything there is to know about Pokemon Go’s new 0.135.1 APK update.
Pokemon Go 0.135.1 APK
As we see from the update’s build number, it comes in the form of APK. This acronym stands for “Android Package Kit” and thus, it can only be installed on Android powered smartphones. We don’t know when Niantic is planning to launch the Go Snapshot feature for iPhones and iPads, but we believe that it’s not going to take longer than a couple of weeks.
Nonetheless, the first thing that Pokemon Go fans need to do whenever they want to install an APK update on their Android powered smartphones is to head over to the Settings panel and then enable the “unknown sources” option. The reason why this option needs to be enabled is because APK updates are downloaded manually from Pokemon Go ‘s official APK website and they are not released via the Google Play Store.
Go Snapshot
Pokemon Go was one of the world’s first games to take advantage of the AR (augmented reality) technology that high-end smartphones offer and the new Go Snapshot feature does exactly that. The new feature makes it possible for Pokemon Go fans to take cool pictures of their favorite Pokemon in real-life environments.
To make things even better, Niantic has made sure to introduce a couple of new poses that Pokemon can do whenever the Go Snapshot feature is activated. We can be sure that the Pokemon Go forums are going to be filled with awesome pictures for the days to come.
