Even though CD Projekt Red has yet to announce the official release date for Cyberpunk 2077, the game developer has already started advertising the game in different videos that have been created in partnership with Sony’s PlayStation. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the world’s most highly anticipated games and even though there isn’t that much information about it available on the web, CD Projekt Red recently confirmed that it will attend the E3 gaming event. Therefore, we will find out everything there is to know about the game in the upcoming future but until then, we want to present everyone with an interesting theory.
Cyberpunk 2077 Side Game
Every game developed by CD Projekt Red is renowned for being immersive and one of the ways that the game developer does this is by introducing side games. The perfect example of this is Gwent which is featured as a fun card game in the Witcher series. The side game became so popular that CD Projekt RED actually created a stand alone version of Gwent. This begs the question, what will Cyberpunk 2077’s side game be?
High Stakes Gambling
If we take a look through gaming forums we will find out that Cyberpunk 2077 fans are hoping that CD Projekt RED introduces a sort of high stakes gambling system in the game. Since Cyberpunk 2077’s timeline is set in the future, CD Projekt RED could create some sort of virtual reality casino where players can gamble the money and mods they earn by completing the game’s most difficult missions.
On the other hand, gambling is frowned upon in gaming because of the Loot Box fiasco started by EA. With that said, there is a high chance that CD Projekt RED might not even introduce a casino in the game because it doesn’t want to damage its brand.
