If you want to know what’s next for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer, we discovered new details about it. As it turns out, the game will remove some things that existed in the previous games. More specifically, players have to say goodbye from the specialist characters. We also found out that there will be no Battle Royale for Modern Warfare 4.
Removing Specialists
We can’t really say that we are surprised about the lack of Specialists in Modern Warfare 4. The players weren’t exactly excited about this mode. In fact, many fans disliked Specialists in Black Ops 4, up to the point where Treyarch had to add a Barebones playlist.
Sources have reported that Modern Warfare 4 wants to go back to the roots of Call of Duty. Since Specialists will be removed, this means that you won’t have special powerful weapons or abilities for characters. This will be a major change, as Specialists were part of Black Ops 3, Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 4.
Modern Warfare 4 won’t have a battle royale mode
If you were hoping to see a battle royale mode, you should know that the game won’t offer you that. Instead, there will be a single player Campaign, Multiplayer and Co-Op mode. This might be a bit of a disappointment for some players, as battle royale seems to be the latest trend in the video games industry.
Nonetheless, we can understand why they decided not to include Blackout in the upcoming game. While the mode was very successful in some places, there were also regions were players were not able to find any matches. Therefore, Modern Warfare 4 seems to try to please all players.
These leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, as nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
