Call of Duty is a first-person shooter game franchise published by Activision. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of its most famous campaigns, and fans were waiting already for eight years its fourth part. On May 30th, Activision released new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 trailer, and fans are excited by in-game footage of hyper-realistic scenarios. The game, also known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, is considered to be a reboot of the original franchise and Activision is not making any effort with this release as it is entwining sensitive political matters into its storyline.
As per the publisher, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare “pushes boundaries and breaks rules the way only Modern Warfare can. Players will engage in breathtaking covert operations alongside a diverse cast of international Special Forces throughout iconic European cities and volatile expanses of the Middle East.”
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was controversial as it featured campaign known as “No Russian” in which players had to gun down civilians at a Russian airport.

In an interview with The Verge, the design director Jacob Minkoff said: ”If we whitewash it, if we backpedal from it, if we show a world where the heroes fight the terrorists and win, you never see the impact on the average person, the collateral damage, or the morally gray situations that soldiers themselves have to face.”
Since last year Activision is not doing well, as investors hit its shares (ATVI) since September. As a consequence, the shares have fallen by almost 50 percent since then. Unfortunately, it comes at a time when greedy advertisers are seeking to increase their profits through tricky practices like the infamous microtransactions with their loot boxes.
The gamers will be able to experience this new campaign with classic multiplayer or squad-up playing in a collection of elite operations, available to all levels of skills. Activision announced that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, will arrive on October 25th, 2019, and will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
