PUBG is one of the games that have revolutionized the gaming industry. In the revolution that PUBG has brought, you can note the Battle Royale genre that has led the path for other favorite games such as Fortnite or Apex Legends. However, PUBG is that kind of game that not everyone could play because of the high-end computer it requires to run on. But, that’s about to end thanks to PUBG Lite which would allow mid-range computer owners to join Battle Royale.
PUBG Lite Beta is rolling out to India
As we mentioned above, to play PUBG, you need a high-end computer for this game. Also, recently, the developers have announced the PUBG Lite version. The Lite version is coming with a lot of toned down graphics in comparison to the original PUBG. That means you can play the PUBG Lite even on a low-end computer.
The countries in which the PUBG Lite is available by now are Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Brazil, and Turkey. But, PUBG Lite is going to roll out in India, too. While we don’t have anything official, it seems that PUBG Lite devs are struggling to add more countries for the Beta version of the game.
Facebook’s PUBG India page has posted that PUBG Lite is coming soon. Unfortunately, we don’t have an official release date, but rumors are saying that the time will be around June 25th.
PUBG Lite system requirements
Now, about the system requirements to run PUBG Lite, we can tell you something. The Minimum System Requirements are:
- The OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10, 64 Bit
- The CPU must be minimum Core i3 and 2.4 GHz
- 4 GB of RAM at least
- 4 GB HDD
- Minimum Intel HD 4000 GPU.
On the other hand, the recommended system is requesting you an Intel i5 with 2.8 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, and Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870.
When would PUBG Lite global release happen?
At the moment, no one precisely knows when PUBG Lite would launch globally. Previously, rumors talked about a May 2019 release date, but that did not happen. Then, others suggested that PUBG Lite will launch globally in June 2019, this month. However, that doesn’t seem probable, either.
In conclusion, we only know that is quite possible that PUBG Lite to come out in India this month, but we also believe that the game’s devs are working on releasing the Beta version of the title in more countries in the future.
