Sometimes players experience freezing for some seconds or more during Battlefield gameplay. If you are experiencing freezes during the gameplay, here are some ‘working’ solutions recommended for you.
Solution 1: Run compatibility mode
Step 1: Click on the start menu
Step 2: Locate the Battlefield 5 (if your version of Battlefield is 5) icon by clicking on the ‘All Apps’ icon
Step 3: Right-click on the battlefield icon
Step 4: Click on ‘Open file location’
Step 4: Right click on the shortcut icon > ‘Properties’
Step 5: Click on compatibility
Step 6: Check the ‘run this program as an Administrator’ box. Make sure the box is ticked.
Step 7: Click on ‘Apply’ > OK
Step 8: Right click on the shortcut icon > ‘Open file location’
Step 9: Open the ‘Installer’ folder
Step 10: Click on the VC folder > VC 2015
Step 11: Open the second folder
Step 12: Run the installer for the version of your computer
Step 13: It will say, ‘set up fail’ if you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 running on your pc. If you don’t, follow the setup instructions to install C++ on your computer
Step 14: Go to your graphics card website and download the latest graphics card driver for your PC. If your graphics card is NVidia, go to nvidia.com.
Step 15: Launch your Battlefield 5 game.
If this fix does not work, you can try upgrading your windows to the latest version of Windows 10.
Solution 2: Optimize Gforce Experience
Here’s how to do this:
Step 1: Make sure you download the most recent graphics drivers for your PC. You can also search for graphics card drivers update on Gforce Experience
Step 2: Go to games in Gforce Experience
Step 3: select Battlefield1
Step 4: Click on details
Step 5: Click on ‘Optimize’ to optimize your settings for Battlefield1.
This should work, if it doesn’t work, you can try upgrading your RAM to 16GB.
