How to Fix Battlefield Sound Problem

How to Fix Battlefield Sound Problem

This error has been attributed to a “sound bug” in the game. And while the error has been experienced on all series, it’s particularly notorious on Battlefield 1/3/5.

In any case, here are some fixes to try:

Note: Ensure that your system’s audio setting is properly configured and working fine.

Fix 1: Reconfigure sound/video settings

To do this, follow the steps below:

• Go to Video advanced setting.
• Locate and disable High dynamic range.
• Find and disable Future rendering.
• Locate and enable
• Apply changes and exit window.
• Restart PC.

If the sound problem persists after this, you can try the next fix.

Fix 2: Reset audio values

To do this:

• click on the Windows + E keys to open Windows Explorer;
• click and select Documents;
• find and double-click on the Battlefield folder;
• double-click Settings > PROF_SAVE_PROFILE
• locate the AudioQuality entry and change its value to 4 (from 0);
• locate the GstAudio.SoundSystemSize entry and change its value to 64 or 32;
• save changes and then exit window.

Now, relaunch the game, start playing and see if the sound problem is solved. If it persists, you can try the next fix.

Fix 3: Update/reinstall game

The sound problem has been attributed to a bug on the latest version of Battlefield; although, its been around for quite sometime now. And while DICE has not acknowledged the problem, it’s possible that a patch has been worked out.

So, try to uninstall the game, and reinstall the latest version on your computer.

The Battlefield sound should now work fine.
