Recent Destiny 3 leaks revealed details on the features of the upcoming game.

Destiny 2 would receive Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion pack in September
Since Destiny 2 launch, three more expansion of the game appeared: Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken). Beside these expansions, several episodes appeared episodes which Bungie called them seasons: Season of the Drifter, Season of Opulence.
Talking about Destiny 2, in this September we will assist the launch of a new expansion, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One PC. Shadowkeep will take you to the Moon to fight Crota, Dominus Ghaul, and Oryx.
Bungie announced that Destiny 2 would be free to play on every platform (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and on the upcoming Google’s Stadia) and its name will change to Destiny: New Light.
Destiny 3 leaks shed more light on the upcoming game’s features
Now, there were some Destiny 3 leaks in the past few weeks suggesting that the game would release in the fall of next year, in 2020. Besides this news, new leaks with the features of the game appeared and here are the most important ones.
You’ve heard about the Darkness before, but you can be at peace now knowing that the Darkness is a race of interdimensional beings known as the Veil. Its goal is to use the Light to revive the Formless One. The Second Collapse will be the storyline of the game. Also, Destiny 3 will introduce a new Darkness element that will focus on action-oriented gameplay between Dark and Light Guardians.
The Veil will be the new enemy race and will gather more combat units than every race, as Cabal and Fallen join the City. The Aphelion will join Veil as an enemy race in Destiny 3, along with the already known enemy races, the Vex. Hive and Taken.
The Nine players will play an essential role in Destiny 3 in helping the players after the Veil conquer the system. Xivu Arath will also play a massive role in the storyline.
