Play Minecraft Classic in Your Browser: Here’s How

We have great, great news for the Minecraft community! As of today, we are given the original Minecraft game to be played in the web browser.

This happens because the team behind the game celebrates its 10th anniversary. The developer of the game, Mojang, has released “Minecraft Classic.” It is the exact game we know from 2009. Right now, the version is full of the original bugs, and it has some technical issues, but we are sure they are going to take care of them as soon as possible. The interface is more rigorous. You have precisely 32 blocks to build with.

What are their future plans?

Tom Stone, from Mojang, wrote in an announcement post that Minecraft 2009 is even more glorious than they remember. It’s quite different from the current iteration, and it’s also quite different than its future plans. We would like to remind you that the company is planning on moving into augmented reality. As of now, we cannot expect to see wild things, such as a survival mode.

It is still one of the best games out there.

Minecraft has grown a lot since its earliest days. It is still one of the top mobile games from the Apple Store and from the Google Play Store. Minecraft: Education Edition is very cool since it can teach kids the world of engineering, computer coding, urban planning, architecture, and even math.

How can I play it?

In order to play it, you need to go to the original Minecraft Classic website, and then just play it. It is free, and you don’t need to download anything. You will need a keyboard, however, so no tablet or smartphone for this one.
