Some rumors are circulating that Red Dead Online might not be the only game that will get a new DLC on PS4 and Xbox One. Red Dead Redemption 2 will probably get an update for its multiplayer mode on Playstation and Xbox. Furthermore, it has been reported that Rockstar Games is developing content for the single-player mode.
Red Dead Online mode popularity
It would be a funny edition for gamers who have not been introduced to any of single-player versions of games in the Rockstar lineup. As the influence of online games is on the rise, and younger players are more likely only to experience this style of gameplay.
To support this claim, we need only look to the single-player of GTA 5, which was supposed to receive new content for each of the main characters from the base storyline. That has been scrapped due to the overwhelming attention received by the online version.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Update
The single-player version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is also in danger of being eclipsed by its online version. But it is holding stronger due to the more substantial story elements that have attracted a lot of fans. The online version is reportedly lacking in this department, as well as others such as cosmetics.
New content featuring Arthur Morgan and Aliens will be released in 2020 according to some rumors. Early 2021 may see the release of a Red Dead Redemption Remake. There is no way to know for sure at this point as Rockstar Games are involved with a great many projects, and there is only so much they can do. Despite all the attention from the fans.
