The developer team over at Project Red included the New Game Plus mode in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt after the game was launched. Fans were excited for this new feature, as it allowed them to start the game over after finishing the narrative while getting to keep their current level and equipment. The new game mode proved to be a major success, so everyone began to wonder if the feature will also be included in CDPR’s next video game. S
According to an article published PSX XTREME, a Polish magazine, Cyberpunk 2077 players will also have the option to enjoy the experience offered by the game in the New Game Plus mode.
The magazine also recently interviewed a representative of CD Projekt Red, revealing more details about their upcoming title. However, it is still unknown if the New Game Plus option will be available as soon as the game launches, or if the company will add it post-launch as it happened with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
There is still a long way to go before Cyberpunk 2077 gets released, so there is a high probability that it will already include the New Game Plus option. Even if the new game mode gets added post-launch, players will probably not have to wait very long after the game’s official launch on April 16.
In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 players will have the opportunity to play with an abundance of customization options for the game’s main character. What’s even more exciting is that customization options will not be gender-limited. Male attributes will be able to be applied to female characters and vice-versa.
Even more, the company recently announced that Cyberpunk 2077 would feature real-life religions. However, some believe this will not be beneficial to the game’s appeal.
Rumors say that one of the four teams working on Cyberpunk 2077 might be developing a multiplayer mode. This has not been confirmed yet, so don’t get your hopes too high up.
Cyberpunk 2077 was announced to be released in 2020, on April 16, on all platforms.
