For those who do not know, Minecraft is a sandbox video game initially created by Swedish programmer Markus “Notch” Persson, and was later developed and published by the company Mojang. Minecraft’s creative and building features allow players to build constructions made out of textured cubes in a 3D like world. The game also favorizes exploration, gathering of resources, combat and variations of crafting.
Multiplayer is also available, some survival modes make the players gather resources to build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have access to limitless resources to build, combined with the ability to fly and an adventure mode, which allows players to roam custom maps created by other players. The PC version of the game is well known for its third party mods that add plenty of new items, characters and quests to the game.
