Fortnite has always been more than a Battle Royale game. Building was an important part of the game, and it appears that the developers intend to develop this even more. An epic blog post announced a new mode: Creative Mode.
WHAT’S FORTNITE CREATIVE?
It’s a brand new way to experience the world of Fortnite, available on December 6. Design games, race around the island, battle your friends in new ways and build your dream Fortnite. It’s all happening on your own private island where everything you make is saved.
Battle Pass owners will have access to a private island for the first week of Season 7. During this early access week Battle Pass owners can invite their friends to play on their island. Starting December 13, all players will have access to a private island for free.
More to come
The new game mode will become available on December 6, but just for players who have purchased a battle pass. But worry not. All the other users will be able to access the mode for free on December 13th. This is exciting news, and many users have compared this new mode with Minecraft.
More than that, it appears that Fortnite has more surprises on its way. The blog post also announced us that this initial Fornite Creative version we will receive is not complete, and players will receive numerous other additions in the upcoming updates. It appears that developers are planning to help this mode evolve in time.
Fortnite Creative is new and exciting, but not final. We’ll be adding many new features and improvements over the next few updates. Like Battle Royale and Save the World, we’re committed to making this bigger and better over time.
The trailer for the new Creative Mode has been posted online under the title “Fortnite – Creative Announcement”. You can watch it here.
