The GTA 6 rumor mill will never stop. After the success of Grand Theft Auto 5, everyone is looking forward to receiving a sequel. While Rockstar has not offered any official details regarding GTA 6, this hasn’t stopped users from speculating about the game. After all, even the developers offered us a few tips.
“We’ve got about 45 years’ worth of ideas we want to do. We’ll pick the right ones. It comes from the idea first. Where [GTA 6] is going to be set is the first question. That then defines the missions; you’re doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the mission in,” declared Rockstar president Leslie Benzie.
Fans have discussed a lot about this one. Many believe that it’s very likely that GTA 6 will make a return to Vice City. This would be likely, as it could allow the game to explore areas south of the border. An information that appeared to confirm this theory is the rumored codename for the game: “Project Americas”.
Traveling to South America would be a first for GTA, and it would definitely come with plenty of opportunities for the players. It would be interesting to leave the United States and explore new locations.
Meanwhile, other fans believe that the sixth installment will come with a brand new map. They don’t believe that older maps will be reused because this might take out some the excitement.
Another rumor seemed to suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6 might leave the continent. Some fans seem to believe that the upcoming game could move the action to the United Kingdom. While we don’t know how likely that is, it would be definitely interesting to see that one.
