CD Projekt Red is expected to release Cyberpunk 2077 sooner than expected. Recently a surprise teaser was released and it might offer us some clues about the release of the upcoming game. The video was launched just in time for Valentine’s Day and it shows Cupid holding a rifle.
“Spotted on February 14th, this bounty hunter is wielding a one-of-a-kind semi-automatic high caliber rifle with a special property of filling holes in people’s hearts,” announces a tweet posted by CD Projekt “And he might just be having you in his sight.”
At first, users believed that this teaser only announces the return of Cupid. The Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account also posted a tweet in which it seemed to confirm this. The tweet also presented his weapon briefly.

Hidden Clues
However, it appears that the teaser might offer us more information than it was originally believed. Some fans took a closer look at the whole thing and they believe that there are some hidden clues that offer us a hint about the release date of the game. The picture from the Cyberpunk 2077 tweet appears to have some hidden numbers.
In the image, we can see the numbers “69” and “112”. Fans believe that 69 refers to June 9, because that is when the E3 conference is supposed to take place. The event would be the perfect moment to announce the release of the game. More than that, it is believed that “112” might be connected to the release date. December 1st seems to be a likely release date.
