Cyberpunk2077 Release Date – Over 400 People Working at the Game

We’ve heard about the Cyberpunk 2077 release date that is not entirely known yet, but that doesn’t mean that we didn’t find some features of the game. CD Projekt Red has announced on Twitter that their new game – single-player game – will not come with a Battle Royale mode, or with micro-transactions.

Cyberpunk 2077 would come without Battle Royale mode or micro-transactions

We know that the single-player mode is right now on fire, but many games come with Battle Royale modes, so it’s quite a surprise for us. Red Dead Redemption is an excellent example of this. However, Cyberpunk 2077 will not follow these rules and will remain at a single-player campaign.

The team behind the game has also talked about the side-characters that will join the main character in the world of Night City. Those players who wanted to play as a male will not get the female version of the sidekick called Jackie, which was portrayed in 2018 in all the demos. They announced that players would have, however, a female companion in the game at some point.

We don’t know for now if these sidekicks can be summoned, or if they will show up at some point, or if they are restricted to different locations, the story is still quite unclear, but this whole thing can follow the system that was used in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

What about the Cyberpunk 2077 release date?

A suggestion showed that the game might get released in 2019. However, we need to keep in mind that The Witcher 3 only had 250 people who worked at the game in its peak developing moment.

The team that works on Cyberpunk 2077 already has more than 400 people. With this in mind, we are waiting for an official Cyberpunk 2077 release date very soon. Also, keep in mind that Cyberpunk 2077 would not feature Battler Royale mode or micro-transactions. Thus, we expect a hell of a single-player campaign.
