Cyberpunk 2077 News: The Witcher 3 Game Director Joins The Team

A couple of days ago, CD Projekt RED announced that they would be coming at E3 and this means we get to learn more about one of the most anticipated first-person RPG games since it got revealed. We will surely learn more about the gameplay and the story, and since it is almost finished, we hope it rolls out to fans by the end of 2019. But hey, no pressure!

What’s the fresh news all about?

New Design Director for Cyberpunk 2077

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz has become the new design director of the game starting in February, as written on his LinkedIn page. His experience is huge, and the fact that he’s been the game director of the famous The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt says a lot.

Tomaszkiewicz worked on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and on the first The Witcher, starting in 2004 as a QA tester, then designer of the original game, then lead gameplay designer on the next installment and lead quest designer, senior designer. Finally, he directed The Witcher 3, and he’s now onto this jewel of a game we are all waiting for.

Considering the list of popular games Tomaszkiewicz has been part of, we have no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 can only get better in the future. Talking about how great the game will be, we must remind you that it will not include microtransactions or a battle royale mode. The game is massive, and the player’s decision will lead them on a certain path in the story, featuring different storylines.

There is no release date for Cyberpunk 2077, but for CD Projekt RED perfection is their motto, so the game will come on PS4, Xbox One, and PC “when it’s ready.” Until then, we cannot wait to hear more from them on Twitter and see what they have to show us at E3!
