It’s been seven years since the first release of Diablo 3, and we want a fresh-out-of-the-box Diablo 4. Don’t you think it’s time for it to happen?
Its developer, Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced that Diablo 4 is in works. But many of the recent statements showed that there’s something really going on and that Diablo 4 already started to get a shape.
We have no official statement yet, but some pieces of evidence showed that Diablo 4 is really in the works. However, it could take about a couple of years before we get the game.
Diablo 4 – Rumors and News
Blizzard revealed Diablo Immortal at Blizzcon in 2018. Many fans were hoping they would talk about Diablo 4, too, given the fact that it has been a lot since Diablo 3 has launched.
However, all they got that day was a mobile spin-off of the popular series. Fans wanted a PC version, so it didn’t matter if the mobile spin-off was either good or bad. The company said that there was nothing else out there for the fans, at that time.
However, a video on YouTube said otherwise. There are multiple Diablo projects in the works and that some may take longer than expected. Also, in the same post, the Blizzard insider thanked the fans for 20 years of support. He said that they might have something for us in 2019 because Diablo will always be a part of what Blizzard represents now. Then, he proceeded to tell that they cannot wait for the future to happen.
We know for sure that Diablo Immortal is in works, so we think that one of the other Diablo projects might be Diablo 4. In a report about the games studio’s 2019 earnings, Blizzard’s COO Coddy Johnson said that the game is being done because the teams are working really hard on many projects for the Diablo franchise. We don’t know yet for sure, but it might take a couple of years for Blizzard to launch Diablo 4, according to rumors.
