Cyberpunk 2077 Marketing Campaign Has Started – The Game Might Arrive Sooner Than Expected

CD Projekt RED announced Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2012 and launched the game’s first trailer in 2013. After doing that, CD Projekt RED stopped releasing any new information about the game and this dwindled the game’s popularity. Last year, CD Projekt RED attended the E3 event and it showed 50-minutes of gameplay footage from Cyberpunk 2077 that blew everyone away.

Fortunately, CD Projekt RED confirmed in a recent Twitter post that the highly anticipated game is going to make an appearance at E3 2019. This means that we are finally going to see more gameplay footage and also find out more information about the game’s innovative features. We are also hoping that CD Projekt RED will let the fans which are present at E3 to play a demo version of the game. Nonetheless, this all points towards the fact that the game’s launch date is sooner than expected.

Starting the Marketing Campaign

As previously mentioned, CD Projekt RED’s actions make it loud and clear that the game is almost ready to launch. To make things even better, CD Projekt RED has started pushing the marketing campaign for Cyberpunk 2077 by releasing a video on the official PlayStation YouTube channel.

The video is called “The Origins of CD Projekt RED” and it reveals some interesting things about the company such as the fact that CD Projekt RED was founded by two high school friends. What’s great about this video is the fact that it is narrated by none other than Geralt of Rivia himself (The Witcher).

Expected Release Date

Since CD Projekt RED is getting ready to present Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019 and the game developer is also launching videos about it, then we believe that there is a high chance for Cyberpunk 2077 to release in late 2019.
