The OnePlus 7 is expected to be the successor of the OnePlus 6T, which means that it should come with some improvements as well. In fact, if the rumors we heard are real, there is a big chance that the OnePlus will come with some major upgrades.
The OnePlus 6T was launched back in October, and it managed to bring a couple of improvements compared to the OnePlus 6. The 6T maintained some important elements, such as the design and the camera system, but it also brought its own enhancements.
OnePlus 6T versus OnePlus 7
The OnePlus 7 is expected to be even better than its predecessor. Since OnePlus usually reveals a new device every 6 months or so, we should expect the OnePlus 7 to be revealed in May or June this year.
Renders of the OnePlus 7 appeared online, and they do look legit. The first thing we notice is its design. The smartphone has no notch at the top and there is an all-screen design.
It appears that OnePlus decided to adopt a pop-up camera system in order to remove all bezels. This is not the first time we see such a system, and other phone manufacturers have already showcased devices that use the same system. The list includes companies such as OPPO and Vivo.
Reports indicate that the OnePlus 7 might come with a significant camera upgrade, although we don’t have more details. The OnePlus 6Tg had a dual setup comprised of a 16 MP and a 20 MP sensor.
The OnePlus 6T had a 6.41-inch AMOLED panel, and there should be a slight change with the OnePlus 7. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.5-inch display.
The OnePlus 6T removed the headphone jack, and it appears that the OnePlus 7 won’t have one either. Rumour has it that the OnePlus 7 will also come with a 4,150mAh battery.
