Even though the internet is filled with rumors and fan theories about Cyberpunk 2077 because gamers all around the world are excited for its upcoming release, CD Projekt Red doesn’t want to reveal the game’s official launch date. Fortunately, the game developer decided to announce that the latest date for when Cyberpunk 2077 will launch is 2021. Not just that, but CD Projekt Red also announced that a second AAA game will be launched by 2021.
2021 Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077 is developed by a large team and the reason why the game hasn’t come out yet is because CD Projekt Red’s motto is “a delayed game is better than a bad game”. The Polish based game developer doesn’t rush when it comes to releasing new games and this strategy has proven to be successful every time because all the games released by CD Projekt RED are highly immersive and they look amazing.
Nonetheless, now we know that Cyberpunk 2077 will be launched by 2021. We believe that the game might actually be launched in 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to arrive at the E3 event which takes place in the upcoming months and CD Projekt Red wouldn’t attend the event if the game wasn’t ready to launch.
Second “AAA” Game
The most interesting thing that CD Projekt RED confirmed is that there will also be a second AAA game that launches by 2021. The interesting thing about this game is that the game developer has yet to announce any details about the new game and we don’t know anything about it. Some fans are saying that the second game might be a spinoff on the mini-game that will be featured inside Cyberpunk 2077 the same way that the card game Gwent is featured in the Witcher series.
