There is not much time left until the Xiaomi Redmi Mi 9 SE will be released. The smartphone should be launched in India soon, where the device will debut. However, it appears that there’s a chance to have a global launch as well. There is no official Xiaomi announcement yet, so we don’t know for sure.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE would launch worldwide soon
However, it appears that there are a couple of clues which seem to indicate that Xiaomi Mi SE will have a worldwide release. For instance, at MWC 2019, Xiaomi Mi 9SE was spotted running MIUI 10 Global stable ROM. As you may know already, there are two versions of the MIUI ROM.
The first version is created for the Chinese market, while the global version is aimed at global markets (obviously). The main difference is that the global version comes with more services including more options for localization. If the smartphone is already running the global version of MIUI, this could mean that Xiaomi is ready to release the new handset worldwide. A couple of weeks ago, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE was launched in China.
The specs of the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
The comes came with mid-range specifications, and it has a 5.97-inch Full HD+ display having 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 432 PPI. The phone also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 octa-core Soc with an Adreno 616 for graphical processing.
