The Elder Scrolls: Blades Opens The Gates For Players

The Elder Scrolls: Blades began Early Access on March 27. In order to access the game, players had to wait for the official invitation. However, if you are not one of the players that have received an invitation, you will be glad to hear that Bethesda is now letting everyone in. The only requirement is having a Bethesda account.

This is good news, and it shows us that the tests had good results. After all, the Early Access testing period began just two weeks ago. Since the invite requirement was already abandoned, we can already say that the game is available for everyone. While a Bethesda net account is needed, users can also sign up once they have downloaded the game.

The announcement was made via a tweet on The Elder Scrolls Blades official Twitter account:

The gates to The Elder Scrolls: #Blades are opening further. Excited to say that anyone with a Bethesda net account can now play.

Next up: We’re looking at all your feedback and rebalancing the most difficult enemy in the game… the silver chest.

Bethesda also let us know that they will focus on solving the silver chest issue next.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is available for free and you can head over to the App Store or Google’s Play Store to download it. The game supports iPhone S3, iPhone 6S and up, as well as iPad Mini 4 and 5, and iPad Air 2 and 3. When you first launch the game you will have to play a short tutorial and then sign in or sign up to a Bethesda.net account in order to be able to play the rest of the game. The progress will be transferred to the full game.
