Line is a great app that makes it easier for users to get in touch with their friends and family members through free calls and text messages. The amazing thing about Line is that this app is constantly improving through new updates and in fact, a brand-new one has just arrived. The latest update for Line sports the 9.6.1 version number and it comes with a bunch of high-priority software tweaks that we are going to present today.
Line 9.6.1 Update
Right from the start, we want to mention that the new update is available in the form of APK. This is an acronym for “Android Package Kit” and therefore, the only ones who can access the new update are Android smartphone users. In addition, the trick to making smartphones eligible for this kind of updates is to head over to the Settings panel and then enable the “Unknown Sources” option.
What’s New?
Line fans should be happy to know that the new update changes the location of the navigation bar to the bottom of the screen. The reason why developers have decided to relocate the navigation bar is because users have been complaining about its position. This proves to us that the developers of Line are paying attention to the feedback that they are receiving and that the only thing they care about is to provide users with a premium user experience.
Furthermore, Line users will now be able to jump to the moment a photo or video is sent in a chat by simply tapping on the time stamp that can be found in the details page. To make things even better, the new update is also introducing the option to scan text from photos in chats with a new feature called OCR.
