After the recent Pixel 3a leak, we now know, in general, the Pixel 3a and 3a XL’s price as YouTube channel This is Tech Today apparently got images of the devices’ retail packaging mentioning their U.S. prices. The Pixel 3a’s price is said to be $399, and the Pixel 3a XL’s would be $479. The price tags mean that Pixel 3a would be half the regular Pixel 3’s cost of $799, and the 3a XL would cost a bit more than the Pixel 3 Xl which is $899.
Given that the devices are expected to have similar camera quality, these prices are quite reasonable.
In the meantime, the leak seems to imply that the new purple Pixel color pattern will be called ‘Purple-ish,’ much alike to the ‘Clearly White’ and ‘Quite Black’ monikers of the other Pixel colors. These models have a storage of 64GB, but 128GB versions may also be released, and the Pixel 3a comes with a 5.6 inches display.
Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL Color Schemes Leaked
Droid Life posted what appears to be official renders of the smartphones in their official promo materials and the white, purple, and black colors.
There were posted numerous device renders in the past, but this is the first time the devices can be seen from multiple angles. The published images confirm the prior suspected details such as the single rear camera, rear fingerprint scanner, and the colored power button.
Droid Life pinpoints that the devices will have Night Sight, Motion Autofocus, Portrait Mode and fast charging, which apparently offers 7 hours of charge in a 15-minute charge cycle. Specs that have been rumored point to Snapdragon 670 chipsets, up to 64GB storage, 4Gg of RAM, and 1080p displays.
The promotional materials also imply the smartphones would get three years of security updates, similar to the other Pixel devices, and would benefit from Call Screening in Canada and the U.S.
In spite of lack of official information from Google, it seems like the two devices, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL, are almost set to be launched next week.
